DESIGN
Guardian’s design staff is well experienced in the design and modification of fire sprinkler systems. In addition to design training, our staff has had mandatory shop and field training, which gives them the expertise to provide real world construction solutions. Our design staff works closely with our sales consultants to provide the best system to meet our clients’ needs. They field survey existing buildings and coordinate the system requirements with the work of other trades while preparing our shop drawings. The design department is equipped with the latest technology, software, and code reference material. This technology enables us to efficiently produce our shop drawings for approval of the authorities having jurisdiction; for fabrication; and to meet the deadlines for today’s fast track projects. We can also utilize existing construction data to provide better system coordination and documentation.
FABRICATION
Guardian Automatic Fire Protection, Inc. moved into our current facility in 2002. We have over 28,000 square feet of manufacturing and storage space. This larger shop area allows us to stock the inventory needed for fast track projects and emergency repairs. We have a complete stock of fire protection devices and piping materials. Having such a broad inventory on hand enhances our flexibility when schedules change or rush projects are added to the schedule. We have the space to stock items purchased in bulk, and pass the material cost savings on to our customers. Because of our in-house fabrication, we maintain high quality and provide timely deliveries.
INSTALLATION
Our field personnel are experienced in the installation, inspection, and testing of all types of fire sprinkler systems and components. We are committed to providing our installers with the tools and equipment necessary for them to install systems quickly, efficiently, and safely. The job sites have the latest in tools and equipment for on-site threading and grooving of piping. Our state of the art design and prefabrication of piping expedites project completion. This also minimizes disruption to operations in existing facilities. Upon completion of the installation, each system is carefully pressure tested in accordance with NFPA standards and insurance and code requirements. Safety is not optional at our job sites, it is a requirement. We provide the training and equipment to keep our job sites safe and in compliance with federal and state OSHA standards.
